So-called ‘oily’ complexions can also benefit from this product. Massaged into the complexion with our toners, it will have the effect of calming the sebaceous glands slowing down the production of sebum, the source of the oil. ARTEMISIA OIL (Mugwort) ARTEMISIA (MUGWORT) OIL with Angelica & Lavender Flower Essences

The white under sides of the leaves of Artemisia shimmer in the moonlight thus its association with dreams and intuition as well as artistic pursuits and creativity, that which happens unseen and ‘in the dark’.

Mugwort herb has been used traditionally for protection and magic. The leaves are bitter and aromatic enhancing digestion when used in small amounts. Feminine conditions such as menstrual cramps and menopause benefit from Artemisia; although it is not to be used internally during pregnancy as its stimulating and warming properties may interfere with the pregnancy. The herb oil used topically warms and stimulates the circulation when used for massage and has traditionally been used to calm tremors.

LAVENDER SPLASH 2 oz LAVENDER SPLASH is a balancer of skin and complexion. LAVENDER SPLASH made with our own organically grown lavender extracted in witch hazel and bottled with organic Lavender hydrosol. The witch hazel is lightly astringent making the Splash a perfect toner and the sweet lavender extract and hydrosol are calming and soothing.

It is soothing and calming having applications similar to its essential oil and can be used for treating burns, irritations, and skin conditions like eczema. The Splash would be great for use traveling, with children in need of a calming spritz, or refreshing in hot weather. There is no alcohol it this toner.

Hydrosols slightly acidic properties help to preserve the complexion’s acid mantle.

LAVENDER SPLASH contains extracts of pure organic Washington State grown Lavender, witch hazel distillate and organic Lavender hydrosol, a distillate.
QUEEN OF HUNGARY’S WATER 4 oz QUEEN OF HUNGARY’S WATER A Toner for all skin types, is made from a variety of herbs macerated in a Witch hazel hydrosol and blended with Organic Orange Flower Water. It is toning to the skin, refreshing and able to normalize the pH of the skin’s protective acid mantle. It is excellent used with our ROSE FACIAL OIL for toning and cleansing, on rosacea and for hydration.

Hydration is very important for maintaining the moisture content of the skin. Drinking plenty of water each day and applying waters in the form of Hydrosol sprays or toners will help maintain the natural moisture in the complexion. Hydrosols are fragrant, therapeutic, anti microbial and carry the healing properties of the plant from which they are distilled. SOLUM&HERBE’s toners and splashes are hydrosol based and do not contain alcohol.

LEMON EMOLLIENT HAND & BODY CREAM 4 oz Our LEMON CREAM is especially emollient and healing due to the high percentage of Shea Butter, nearly 20%. This is a Fair Trade product. The wild grown Shea butter is combined with Organic carrier oils, Aloe and Lavender Hydrosol to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.
