ROSE&LAVENDER Salve contains Eco-extracts of fresh Rose and Lavender flowers infused in Organic Sesame oil, with Organic Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, fragrant Rose wax, Organic Lavender Essential oil, Damascena & Centifolia Rose attar & Rose absolut.

The high percentage of Shea Butter, nearly 20%, makes our LAVENDER BODY CREAM especially emollient and healing for use all over the body.

The Shea Butter used by SOLUM&HERBE comes from the Ama Serwaa Women’s Cooperative in Ghana, where they harvest and process the nuts of the Shea tree in the traditional manner. This is a Fair Trade product. The wild grown Shea butter is combined with Organic carrier oils, Aloe and Lavender Hydrosol to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.

VIOLET SALVE 1 oz VIOLET SALVE - Another name for Violets is ‘hearts-ease’ in keeping with the belief of the ancient Greeks that Violets could “mitigate anger, induce sleep and strengthen the heart”. Their heart shaped leaves have also been a key ingredient in ‘love potions’ through the ages and heart tonics in many cultures worldwide.

Violet Leaf Salve can help soothe pain, heal wounds, dissolve lumps, reduce swelling and nourish skin. Violet Salve is an excellent breast cream. High in Vitamin A and C and salicylic acid (natural aspirin), Violets are antiseptic and soothe painful conditions. Our Violet Leaf Salve is made with organic Violet leaves macerated in organic sesame oil, with wild shea butter, calendula, fragrant rose wax, rosehip seed oil and essential oils.

MELISSA SALVE (Lemon Balm) 1 oz MELISSA SALVE can be used on cold sores, bites and as insect repellent. Lemon Balm is sedative, anti microbial and anti-inflammatory.

Melissa officinalis, Lemon Balm’s botanical name is derived from melissa the Greek word for honey bee (Apis Meliffera). As a member of the mint or Lamiaceae family it attracts many bees to its small but nectar laden flowers. The delicately lemon scented leaves are used to make a realxing tea, flavor wine and beer and are used in cooking. Its flavor comes from the terpenes citronellal, citronellol, citral and geraniol. Citral has been demonstrated in studies to be anti-viral and in Germany it is used in creams and ointments to treat herpes and other viral skin conditions.
