MELISSA SALVE (Lemon Balm) 1 oz MELISSA SALVE can be used on cold sores, bites and as insect repellent. Lemon Balm is sedative, anti microbial and anti-inflammatory.
Melissa officinalis, Lemon Balm’s botanical name is derived from melissa the Greek word for honey bee (Apis Meliffera). As a member of the mint or Lamiaceae family it attracts many bees to its small but nectar laden flowers. The delicately lemon scented leaves are used to make a realxing tea, flavor wine and beer and are used in cooking. Its flavor comes from the terpenes citronellal, citronellol, citral and geraniol. Citral has been demonstrated in studies to be anti-viral and in Germany it is used in creams and ointments to treat herpes and other viral skin conditions.

SOLUM & HERBE Soaps are carefully formulated 100% natural bars that use pure essential oils that lather well and are non drying to the skin. We use a variety of pure vegetable oils chosen to pamper and soothe the skin and to make hard satisfying bars that are pleasant to use. Our own Elderberry extract preserved with brandy and with a touch of honey is the perfect support for the body against the health challenges that predominate this time of year.
