Teas have antioxidants and tannins that help keep the skin in good repair and give the soap a dark herbal color, naturally. The scent is refreshing and exotic from a mix of fragrant Jasmine wax and essential oils of Cypress, Orange and Coriander. The soap is made with a variety of organic seed and nut oils and butters.

Ylang Ylang, which means ‘flower of flowers’, is a tropical intensely floral scented flower from the tree Cananga odora also known as, the Perfume Tree. Sweet and fragrant Ylang Ylang essential oil scents this soap of vegetable oils, Pink Kaolin clay and Calendula flower petals. In Aromatherapy the scent is calming and mood lifting. In skin care it has a balancing effect on both oily and dry complexions.

LEMON EMOLLIENT HAND & BODY CREAM 4 oz Our LEMON CREAM is especially emollient due to the high percentage of Shea Butter, nearly 20%. For use all over the body it banishes dry skin and leaves the skin on hands and feet smooth and nourished. In the warm season it is excellent for "summer feet," when the cracks that can occur on the heels when going barefoot or lightly shod are most prevalent. Wild grown Shea butter, a Fair Trade product, is combined with Organic carrier oils, aloe and hydrosols to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.

The essential oils May Chang (Litsea cubeba, a lemon scented essential oil high in Citral), and Lavandin help to relax aches and pains and ease the nervous system. The Cream rubbed on the feet before bed helps to ease the body into a sleep state.

MELISSA SALVE (Lemon Balm) 1 oz MELISSA SALVE can be used on cold sores, bites and as insect repellent. Lemon Balm is sedative, anti microbial and anti-inflammatory.

Melissa officinalis, Lemon Balm’s botanical name is derived from melissa the Greek word for honey bee (Apis Meliffera). As a member of the mint or Lamiaceae family it attracts many bees to its small but nectar laden flowers. The delicately lemon scented leaves are used to make a realxing tea, flavor wine and beer and are used in cooking. Its flavor comes from the terpenes citronellal, citronellol, citral and geraniol. Citral has been demonstrated in studies to be anti-viral and in Germany it is used in creams and ointments to treat herpes and other viral skin conditions.

ROSE ELIXIR 2 Oz A drop of Pure Rose to instill the heart with passion, infuse the soul with love and sweeten every moment.

We harvest rose petals at the peak of the summer season and drop them into pure naturally sweet glycerine. The glycerine draws the rose compounds from the flower petals and holds them suspended in a preserved state. As the months pass the clear glycerine gradually turns a deep rosy color. We process our Rose Elixir for a minimum of six moths. Once the extraction is complete, we strain out the spent rose petals and infuse the elixir with Flower and Gem essences. The result: the taste of Pure Rose Essence infused with energetically active essences and naturally sweetened with clear glycerine.

Add Rose Elixir to pure water or mix with a fine clear vodka for a delightfully delicate cocktail. Add a few drops to your culinary favorites, a cup of tea or simply splash a few drops on the tip of your tongue.

You can even use it topically in a bath or as a warm compress to gently restore body and mind.

ROSE GERANIUM HAND & BODY CREAM with LAVENDER LAVENDER & ROSE GERANIUM BODY CREAM is our newest shea butter cream for emollient care of the skin. Both Lavender and Rose Geranium are herbs that smell wonderfully sweet and are calming and soothing to the body. Both herbs help balance sebum, the skin’s built in lubricant and softener. Both essential oils of Lavender and Rose Geranium are known to relieve discomfort in the body. The high percentage of Shea Butter, nearly 20%, makes our LAVENDER & ROSE GERANIUM BODY CREAM especially emollient and beneficial for use all over the body.

The Shea Butter used by SOLUM&HERBE comes from the ADagomba Ah Shayh Women’s Cooperative in Ghana, where they harvest and process the nuts of the Shea tree in the traditional manner. This is a Fair Trade product. The wild grown Shea butter is combined with Organic carrier oils, Aloe and Lavender Hydrosol to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.
