ARTEMISIA OIL (Mugwort) Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, small animals and the woodlands and, the goddess of childbirth, midwives and the protectress of infants and young girls. She ruled the Moon opposite her brother Apollo who ruled the sun. The silvery leaves of the Artemisia plant evoke the dream state and represent intuition, creativity and artistic pursuits.
