LEMON EMOLLIENT HAND & BODY CREAM 4 oz Our LEMON CREAM is especially emollient and healing due to the high percentage of Shea Butter, nearly 20%. For use all over the body it banishes dry skin and leaves the skin on hands and feet smooth and nourished. In the warm season it is excellent for "summer feet," healing and preventing the cracks that can occur on the heels when going barefoot or lightly shod. Wild grown Shea butter, a Fair Trade product, is combined with Organic carrier oils, aloe and hydrosols to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.

MELISSA SALVE (Lemon Balm) 1 oz MELISSA SALVE can be used on cold sores, bites and as insect repellent. Lemon Balm is sedative, anti microbial and anti-inflammatory.

Melissa officinalis, Lemon Balm’s botanical name is derived from melissa the Greek word for honey bee (Apis Meliffera). As a member of the mint or Lamiaceae family it attracts many bees to its small but nectar laden flowers. The delicately lemon scented leaves are used to make a realxing tea, flavor wine and beer and are used in cooking. Its flavor comes from the terpenes citronellal, citronellol, citral and geraniol. Citral has been demonstrated in studies to be anti-viral and in Germany it is used in creams and ointments to treat herpes and other viral skin conditions.

LAVENDER SPLASH 2 oz LAVENDER SPLASH is a balancer of skin and complexion. LAVENDER SPLASH made with our own organically grown lavender extracted in witch hazel and bottled with organic Lavender hydrosol. The witch hazel is lightly astringent making the Splash a perfect toner and the sweet lavender extract and hydrosol are calming and soothing.

Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, small animals and woodlands, was also the goddess of childbirth, midwives and protectress of infants and young girls. She ruled the Moon while her brother Apollo, ruled the Sun. The white under sides of the leaves of Artemisia shimmer in the moonlight thus its association with dreams and intuition as well as artistic pursuits and creativity, that which happens unseen and ‘in the dark’.

Mugwort herb has been used traditionally for protection and magic. The leaves are bitter and aromatic enhancing digestion when used in small amounts. Feminine conditions such as menstrual cramps and menopause benefit from Artemisia; although it is not to be used internally during pregnancy as its stimulating and warming properties may interfere with the pregnancy. The herb oil used topically warms and stimulates the circulation when used for massage and has traditionally been used to calm tremors.
