Their heart shaped leaves have also been a key ingredient in ‘love potions’ through the ages and heart tonics in many cultures worldwide.

Violet Leaf Salve can help soothe discomfort and wounds, reduce swelling and nourish skin. Excellent on burns Violet Salve calms and reduces blistering. Violet Salve is also an excellent breast cream. High in Vitamin A and C and salicylic acid (natural aspirin), Violets soothe uncomfortable conditions. Our Violet Leaf Salve is made with organic Violet leaves macerated in organic sesame oil, with wild shea butter, calendula, fragrant rose wax, rosehip seed oil and essential oils.

The Shea Butter used by SOLUM&HERBE comes from the ADagomba Ah Shayh Women’s Cooperative in Ghana, where they harvest and process the nuts of the Shea tree in the traditional manner. This is a Fair Trade product. The wild grown Shea butter is combined with Organic carrier oils, Aloe and Lavender Hydrosol to produce a Body Cream that is more than 90% Organic or wild ingredients.

Shampoo Castor Oil based liquid shampoo will clean and condition the hair without the chemical ingredients found in many shampoos. This shampoo is minimally lathering but excellent in cleaning. You will need to shampoo less often than with a commercial shampoo.
