LAVENDER SPLASH 2 oz
LAVENDER SPLASH is a balancer of skin and complexion. LAVENDER SPLASH made with our own organically grown lavender extracted in witch hazel and bottled with organic Lavender hydrosol. The witch hazel is lightly astringent making the Splash a perfect toner and the sweet lavender extract and hydrosol are calming and soothing. It is soothing and calming having applications similar to its essential oil and can be used for treating burns, irritations, and skin conditions like eczema. The Splash would be great for use traveling, with children in need of a calming spritz, or refreshing in hot weather. There is no alcohol it this toner.
Hydrosols, sometimes called distillates, and hydrolates, are the water portion of the distillation of plants for the production of essential oils. The distillate water, hydrosol, is the water that has carried the essential oil of the plant through the distillation process, the vehicle of extraction. At the end of the distillation process the essential oil floats on the surface of the distillate water and is separated to be used separately. These distillate waters are useful in the care of the skin and body. They are excellent for use in hydrating the complexion, for lifting a mood, refreshing us while traveling or on a hot day. Hydrosols slightly acidic properties help to preserve the complexion’s acid mantle.
